Opened in 2007 in Al Rai, The Avenues is the largest mall in Kuwait and one of the largest in the world, with themed districts from a traditional-style souq to a glass-roofed grand avenue.
With a total area of around 1.2 million m², more than 1,400 shops and parking for some 17,000 cars, The Avenues is a destination in itself — especially in summer, when life in Kuwait moves indoors.
Each district has its own architecture and character, from Arabian-style lanes to luxury galleries, with restaurants, cafés and cinemas throughout.
